The Deku Rave (which was posted some weeks ago) got a lot of praise by the fans. However, there was a notable amount of (justified) criticism this time as well.

To counter this criticism (and to allow people who like the song to get more out of it) I made another version, which I call the Scrub Edit. Basically, the original was finished a bit too early, so I took the time to revise it significantly with more variations to keep you interested. Now I can only hope that the criticism on this version is a bit more positive~

Here is the winner of our last voting, a remix of Hyper Zone (Kirby’s Dreamland 3) and Koishi’s Theme, Hartmann’s Youkai Girl (Touhou 11: Subterranean Animism) called Emotional Disorder.

Both tunes are pretty crazy, although the result sounds more like a dance remix. In fact, there wasn’t nearly as much experimentation in it as one would have expected…didn’t feel very inspired, yet I tried to make the best out of both songs. At least I added a little reference to the amazing Eurobeat/Dance remix of Koishi’s theme, Paranoia by Digital Wing.

Next we have the Castlevania remix Heart of Fire, I hope it will be badass, although I might have a little surprise waiting for you before that. Afterwards we’ll start with Arch Rival Month 2!

At last: the long-awaited Waluigi Pinball remix is here!

Hyper Pinball not only features said tune originally from Mario Kart DS, but also a bit of Greenhorn Forest (Wario World), which is pretty much the theme of Waluigi’s brother in crime. I also added some Eurobeat elements, because I thought it would fit. We didn’t have that for quite a while now either!

My my, what a clear victory. Now I wonder if the reason for this was the Kirby song or Koishi’s tune…I’ll certainly try to make a crazy combination out of these songs. After that, we have another Castlevania remix, that’s gonna be quite the heroic tune. Then we can finally start with Arch Rival Month 2!
