After skipping a month, I’m back with another remake, and this time it’s The Legend – an Ocarina of Time medley. Since the game gets a remake, I thought it was time to bring this song back and update it – and yeah, it’s quite an update (not sure about upgrade, but you can decide that for yourself).

Instead of the more techno approach of the original, I tried to use more fitting instruments (Zelda’s Lullaby excluded, because I really liked how it sounded), while leaving the basic beat. Especially for the warp songs I wanted to include the back and forth with the harp and the flute to imitate how you learn those songs in the game. But enough talk, let’s hear it:

I did play around with the video stuff again, checking some presets, and I found some really cool stuff, I think this one looks nice, it’s more dynamic while still simple, and I can display the current song of the medley on the top right. Pretty neat!
