And here’s the winner of the last voting, a remix of Strawberry Crisis!! from Touhou 03 – Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream (also featuring Dullahan Under the Willows from Touhou 14)!

I thought the two red heads would work quite well together and it’s not surprising that they actually do.

The mix is more on the slow side and feels a bit…unlike my style. I did expect to be a bit more inspired by that theme honestly, but the result is interesting nonetheless. I hope you agree XO

Next up we have a Majora’s Mask remix (likely Deku Palace +) right in time for the release of the Majora’s Mask DLC for Hyrule Warriors and the release of Majora’s Mask 3D. You can still vote for the remix after that, at the time I write this it looks like Waluigi Pinball is going to make it:

Maximum Brawl

Are you ready for this year’s grand finale?

Maximum Brawl is a remix of Meta Crystal from the original Super Smash Bros. Well…that’s not entirely true. This is more a remix of a remix, as this song is based on King Meteor’s amazing Meta Crystal Brawl Arrangement:

I picked up on that idea and included the Main Themes of Super Smash Bros. Melee, Brawl and the latest installment for 3DS and Wii U.

The original song is already pretty amazing but King Meteor’s arrangement is just gorgeous and really catchy. If you listened to it, you probably see it the same way. I hope I did it justice!

X-Mas Fantasia

Merry Christmas everyone!

What’s going on? Another X-Mas Mix?! Well, more or less. This song is actually a few years old already (I think it’s from 2012), but I never released it. I gave it a listen a few days ago and felt that it’s finally time to officially upload it.

The song itself is a Touhou medley with a Christmas vibe although it doesn’t include any ice-related songs like you would expect (no Cirno, no Letty…). Instead, the song focuses on Yukari’s theme Necrofantasia, while it obviously includes several other Touhou songs (even 2 fire-related themes!).

The song actually started as a Eurobeat remix, which the genre I was messing around with at that time. You can still hear a bit of that in the song.
