Why am I still announcing things…

I actually wanted to post a Gerudo Valley remix this time, but things kinda got in the way and I have to postpone it a bit. I want it to be good after all!

Instead, we have an interesting little (big) project today, that’s been waiting for its release for over 3 years! I started working on this song back then, but neither released nor even finished the song. So that’s what I did. I tried to finally finish that song. Honestly, the result isn’t THAT satisfying, but I assure you I did all I could.

The song is mainly a remix of Fighting of the Spirit from the Tales of series (for reference I’ll put Tales of Phantasia here) although I threw some Disciple Month references in there as well. It features some original parts and parts of the song that I barely (never) used in the Disciple Month mixes.

Hopefully I can finish Gerudo Valley till next time. As for the next OST focus, we’ll have the mini bosstheme of Luigi’s Terrific Quest (LTQ).

OST Focus – LTQ Main Theme

Today’s OST focus features Luigi and the Main Theme for his animated series Luigi’s Terrific Quest, created by VanishingSVST.

Although being the Main Theme, the song isn’t included in any episode yet. For two simple reasons:

– It was made a week ago

– The first and so far only episode of this side series is already pretty old and suffered severely from a data loss back in the day

The song will likely be included in a new intro as well as some laid-back traveling sequences. For the video, series creator VanishingSVST even drew Luigi!

Isn’t it catchy? If yes, that’s likely because of the lively tunes I included. First, we have The Adventure Begins from Mario Party (what a fitting name for an adventurous song!), but the song also includes a super catchy tune I always loved: the Bonus song from the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. If you like the song, there might be one or two other songs like that on the OST page!

Next time on OST focus, we hear some more Luigi’s Terrific Quest songs. As for next week, be hyped for a Gerudo Valley remix!

New song(s), Voting

End of a New Beginning

Finally! The winner of our Touhou voting is here, a remix of Kanako’s final boss theme Suwa Foughten Field from Touhou 10: Mountain of Faith. Saying it took me a while would be a lie, there have just been other priorities after the voting was finished, like…Halloween and such! Traditions~

Unlike the song name might suggest, I’m not breaking any new ground with this mix. In fact, the song name itself is rather mysterious. You’re free to interpret it!

As this is supposed to be a serious final boss end-of-the-world techno mix, I limited myself a bit: No silly sound effects, no random stuff, just a straightforward (techno) approach this time. And I also managed to not include any other themes. Been a while since I did that!
