It’s time for this year’s Halloween Mix! This year’s song is called Night of the Sea Monster – that means the theme this time is sea/lake monsters.
And we have a nice selection: Mizutsune (Monster Hunter), Lord Woo Fak Fak (Banjo-Tooie), Puftoss (Donkey Kong 64), The End of Raging Waves (Etrian Odyssey III), Boat Battle (Golden Sun: The Lost Age) and Crush Crawfish (Mega Man X3).
Of course it comes with a video as usual:
This is probably gonna be the last “Night of the…” Halloween Mix for a while, since I have some other plans for the next few years – although it might not even be all that different! 😉
VG Arch Rivals Remastered is finally out and available on Bandcamp! If asked about the price, you can just put 0 to get it for free – keep in mind I only have a limited amount of free downloads per month, so if that doesn’t work you might have to wait a bit until the free downloads are refilled (certain perks won’t be available if you get it for free though).
The songs on the album come with some more tweaks and changes compared to the versions I uploaded to YouTube (and in the last post). In addition to that, it comes with 3 bonus tracks: “instrumental” versions of Ken vs Ryu 2021 and Eggman vs Sonic 2021, as well as Eggman Solo, which is an alternative version of Eggman vs Sonic 2021 only featuring Eggman’s Theme. These songs are only available on the album.
After the last song, the website was experiencing technical difficulties for several weeks, rendering me unable to upload songs, or post literally anything. So I couldn’t even tell anyone about it here!
But you might notice that everything is working again – so we have a little bit of catch up to do. Although the summary is short enough: VG Arch Rivals Remastered – in the spirit of remastering my old songs, this is an album dedicated to remastering a bunch of song from VG Arch Rivals Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.
And it’s basically done by now, there are seven songs and we’re only a week away from the official album release. So here they are:
Keep in mind that the album versions of the songs might sound different, I’m currently trying to add a little more spice to some of them. The official album release (as usual on Bandcamp) is scheduled for next Sunday. The album itself will be available for free, so I hope you’ll check it out!
